Our Pastoral Search Committee has been elected as of March 25th.  Please remember to pray for our search team.  Brother Clyde has given 5 things to pray for our team:

1.  Pray they will seek the face of God more than a pastor.  (1 Samuel 16:1-3)

2. Pray that they surrender to the will of God. (vs. 4-5)

3. Pray that they will be a people of discernment and wisdom looking on the heart. (vs. 7)

4. Pray that they will hear from God with absolute clarity. (vs. 12-13)

5. Pray that they have unity spirit and purpose. (Romans 15:5-6)

Please also pray for our Pastor and his family:

1. Pray that God will prepare his heart and his family for a move.

2. Pray that as the search team and pastor meet, there will be a bonding of hearts and a unique comfortableness.

3. Pray that it will be abundantly clear to him that his gifts, background, vision, and passions match the needs of our church.

4. Pray that the Lord will unite the hearts of the pastor, his wife and family in a sense of God's leadership to explore the opportunity to lead First Baptist.

5. Pray that the pastor and his family will hear God's call and respond joyfully and obediently.
